Clips, Interviews & Behind the Scenes on an upcoming movie I did some work on. Test your "Where's Waldo" skills and try to see how many times you can find me in the background! Bonus points for finding Cameron, Eric, Masani, Victoria & Andrew!

www.movieset.com/beatdown/videos

It might take some serious skills though :P

Ok, fine fine.  Everyone is complaining at me.  Didn't any of you ever win at Where's Waldo?!
Here's a list of approximate time stamps:

Video 1
Me - 1:25

Video 2
Didn't catch anyone in this one, but it's got Rudy, and Rudy is awesome, so you should watch it anyhow :P

Video 3
Cam & Eric - 1:10 (far left side of the picture)

Video 4
Cam - 0:55 (not sure if that's Dena behind him or not, I can only see half a face and I wasn't on set that night) again, on the far left.
Me & Masani - 1:00 slightly right of the middle, directly behind Rudy & friend
Victoria & Andrew - 1:09 (I think we mostly see Andrew's back here :/ haha )
V & A again at 1:15 A continuation of the previous scene, and we see more on Andrew this time

Video 5
ME & Victoria - 0:23 far left side.

OK, that's it on my brief run through!  Sorry if I missed anyone at any time!

I guess it could have been hard to see me anyhow, because of my various disguises :P

I remembered a simple dream from last night for a bit this morning, but by the time I went from bed to the bathroom, I already forgot!

Well the spammer on myspace had their account deleted, so no more fun, but I did hear back from them.
Nothing too impressive, but I'll paste a text history of the interactions, since some of you asked.

"Nadia":
Hello How are you doing today i am Nadia single with no kids i will like to know more about you..

Me:
Hello Nadia. I am also single with no kids.  I enjoy long walks on the beach, , romantic sunsets, holding hands, poetry, and kidnapping young attractive girls to torture and abuse in my abattoir of terrors which I conduct in the sub basement of my complex. I am very pleased to meet you.

"Nadia":
Okay okay i will like to have your address

Me:
That is a secret!  How am I to conduct my sexual torture and brutal slayings of beautiful young women if I am just giving my address out all willy nilly to everyone who asks for it?  You could be a member of the FBI for all I know. Where are you from?

"Nadia":
No i am not a Fbi okay

Me:
ok, if you say so. Then tell me a little about yourself. I live in Texas, where do you live? Do you like torture?
_

At this point our dear "Nadia" was deleted from myspace :(

I suppose that's well enough, since it did not really seem like "she" was too good at her job of chatting me up for my personal info.  Didn't speak english very well I am guessing.  Or was using some sort of translation site. Ahh well, no big deal, but there you go, for completion sake.
___

Let's see if we can make this one into TL;DR too!  Whoo!  I love the challenge!

Friday after work was the last day of filming for the Beatdown project.
Went home, took a shower and a brief nap.  Cam came over, and we headed down, after I inhaled a cheeseburger, which is srs biz if you're going to be out in the cold all night, FYI.

Got down to the set location (a lake / park about 25 mins south of my place) around 10pm-ish.  Got parked and settled.  Did some fantastic standing around.

After a while, Eric & James showed up.  Surprising that James came out of his long standing tradition against doing anything which might take place outside of his comfort zone.  Shockingly, he didn't even complain too much.  I guess he was bottling it up for Saturday night, but more on that later.

Several scenes were filmed which we weren't really involved in, so we just got to hang out and stuff.  Ate some Fake Oreos. Eventually we started setting up for the scene with us in it.  This time it was a sort of a 'party at the lake' kind of thing.  We got to be party people, and my car was used in a couple of shots too.  We got to see some naked chicks for a minute, but none of them were really worth bothering to look at. It was cold, but we had some trash-can fires, and got to stand around them, drinking our fake beers and pretending to talk to one another.  Finally wrapped after the sun came up.

Got to tell everyone goodbye, and got some free swag from some of the sponsors (Tap Out & Hit Man Fight Gear).  Kinda sad to see it all end, but also kind of a relief to see it all wrap successfully.

I'm sure it was even more conflicting for people who worked on it full time, I was just there a tiny amount compared to most everyone else.  Really glad I got to be there on the last day.

No idea how long post-production will be, or when it'll be released, but as soon as I know something, I'll post about it. I don't think I was home until 7am-ish, and not sure what time I actually made it to bed. I slept as much as I could until...
___

I got out of bed around around 3:30 and started getting stuff together for our Homespun Horror project which was filming in Round Rock Saturday night.

It was supposed to be a big house party scene and I needed to provide some plastic cups, and some fake vomit.  Ran some errands, went to the store, made some vomit.  Took a shower and got dressed.  Went to pick Evan up and then headed out to RR.

Place wasn't too hard to find, but the lighting on the street was bad, so the house numbers were hard to see.
A decent enough number of people ended up showing up.  Got some release forms together and had people signing in etc.

Only one person (some fat dude in an orange shirt and a beard) was an asshole.  He was all dramatic and losery too but he ended up leaving riiiiight as I was about to throw him out, so I was spared having to deal with his QQing.

James was fussing and fuming about being 'bored' while standing around and refusing to interact with anyone.  Related?  Go figure.  He got called in to work though, so Eric gave him a ride and no one had to listen to him complain anymore.  Maybe that was poetic justice.  God was like "Oh?  The party isn't GOOD enough for you, huh?  How about would you rather be at work?! *smite*"  I'm sure that the whole thing will be lost on him though, unless he reads this, in which case: HOW WAS WORK, SUCKER?!

Things went fairly well.  Saw a lot of people that I haven't seen in a while.  Met some new friends.  Did an awesome makeup job on Phil that seemed to be quite the hit with the gathered extras / party goers.

People came and went all night.  Eventually some drunken douche who lives across the street from the location came over.  Apparently he was being an ass and bothering people for a long time.  I was really busy with other things, so I didn't know for the longest time that there was a problem.  The owner of the house asked him to leave, and he tried to resist, so Jessie was calling him a jackass.  That was pretty funny.  I took off my jacket and made sure he left.  I really thought I was going to have to physically remove him there for a moment or two, but I waited it out, and acknowledged it as a last resort. I did follow him all the way out though, and stood there until he went into his house.

Apparently he sneaked back later though and broke some bottles in the driveway, and ended up ruining at least one tire on at least one car.

Wish I had caught him in the act.  Hopefully the home owner will deal with him.  Must suck to have neighbours like that.  Sounds like the whole family is doing shit like that all the time :(

Ended up getting home and into bed around 7am-ish I think.
Got woken up right before 10am and I didn't get back to sleep.

Had a mostly lazy Sunday though, and tried to get to bed early to be up at 6am this morning.

And here I am.

I'm sitting here, and I have fake blood stains on some of my fingers, and real blood stains on others, and I can totally tell which ones are which.  Fake blood always stains too pink.

So here's some videos!

These are all behind the scenes videos taken by UFC fighter Michael Bisping of the movie that I've been involved with.

He has chronicled his adventures along the way.  My friend Victoria is in several of these (she's the hairstylist) but I'm only in video #4.

But anyhow, there's some good footage and you can see some of what I've been working on and blogging about recently.  If the TL;DR has been scaring you off, maybe video is better for you.

Ok, here's a few pics from the new movie I'm working on.
This is a short being done by Art Crime Studios called "Absinthe Makes the Dead Live Longer!"

Rather than a cramming all the pics here, I'll just give you a link to the folder.  No login needed to check them out!

Twelve pics so far, enjoy!

I will post more as more becomes available.
